  Job Summary:
  Authentium has a position open for a Macintosh Developer located in our Palm Beach Gardens office. We are looking for a good solid developer with good image and communication skills. Participate in cross functional projects to develop new and enhance existing technology solutions based on Macintosh Development Skills.
  
  Experience:

  • Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing complex software on Macintosh platforms required
  • experience with Mac OSX Development, MAC OSX Gui implementation & standards
  • Nextstep, Applescript, Assembly, C/C++
  • Good debugging skills
  • Experience with the following technologies: Objective C, Cocoa, Carbon, IOKIT, and CVS

• SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

  Job Summary:
  Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer software products. Analyzes current operational procedures to identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for report. Analyzes security sites, anti-virus methodologies and actual computer virus infections. Develops countermeasures to address security issues. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs. Conducts studies pertaining to development of new information systems. May direct the work of others to develop, test, install, and modify programs.
  
  Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field required.
  • Experience in information technology, software engineering, database systems and operating systems required.
  • Ability to demonstrate and prove expert-level system development skills (e.g. experience w/ VxD or VDD) required.

We are currently looking for a qualified software sales professionals to join our Sales Team in the corporate office located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
  
  As a sales account executive you must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, time management, and enthusiasm. Your experience should include technical, customer service or sales environment. You will be responsible for starting and supporting the sales cycle by prospecting and qualifying product leads. You will be responsible for attainment of monthly goals.
  
  Experience:

  • Candidates must have 2+ years of sales experience in a quota based sales capacity
  • The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with executive level decision makers
  • Strong verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Work in a self-directed and/or team environment
  • College degree is preferred
  • Technical background a plus

• TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Many of our customers have technical backgrounds and expect to deal with a tech support team that is experienced in both the Command AntiVirus product line as well as various workstation, server, and network operating systems. We are searching for qualified and motivated individuals to join our top-notch technical support team.
  
  Job Description:
  

  • Primarily provide telephone & e-mail technical support to customers.
  • Install & configure test systems & servers to research and solve customer problems.
  • Assist the sales team with product and pre-sales technical questions.
  • Support new releases and products such as XP, Exchange 2000, Linux, Microsoft ".NET", etc.
  • Assist with product quality assurance testing.
  • Writing FAQs and/or technical "white papers".
  
  Required Skills and Qualifications:
  
  • Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent telephone skills with the ability to handle stressful problem situations.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft and Novell operating systems (Linux/Unix a plus).
  
  Required Experience:

  • Hands-on experience using, configuring and troubleshooting DOS, Win3.x, Win9x/ME, WinNT/2000/XP workstation operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience using, configuring and troubleshooting Novell, WinNT/2000/XP network operating systems (OS/2 a plus).
  • Working knowledge of MS applications such as Access, Word and Excel.
  • Microsoft Exchange Server and/or Lotus Notes a plus.
